As a support role at Birdwell's headquarters, I was tasked with creating many eblasts to promote new product launches, promotional deals, or custom thank-you emails. Birdwell has long been established and taps strongly into being a heritage brand, originally forming in 1961. To support this, each visual had to reflect this language, and more importantly, the feeling.

poolside fun

The first eblast showcases Birdwell's launch of their poolside trunks. Typically being known as a beach brand, the poolside trunks had to give off a slightly different feeling than being at the beach. This was supported by carefully curating the imagery within the email. Below the product display, a playful collage of energy and the feeling of messing around at the pool all day aims to justify that vibe.

The second eblast showcases Birdwell's launch of the racing jacket. This also takes a different position from their well-known beach board shorts. This imagery had to feel elevated—giving off a sense of high-quality and targeted towards people who care for nice things. This was achieved through beautiful car imagery and monochrome colors. The images are clean and void of busy elements.

It incentivizes getting out in nature and to stay active. The collage imagery tells a story of being outside all day, noted from it's different lit images from dawn to dusk. It also displays its heavy-duty, yet light-weight and fast-drying qualities.
