jewish social impact
a community-based approach behind jsi
JSI's mission is to connect socially conscious Jews with each other and with evidence-based opportunities to do good, integrating Jewish tradition, community, and values with a commitment to solving the world's biggest problems. The owner came to me to reflect his mission into a powerful logo that communicates connection, warmth, tradition, and logic/reasoning.

original ai concept
This ai concept was originally generated by the owner of JSI. Conceptually, there was potential, but it was missing the correct execution and elements. Additionally, it was too busy and unbalanced. However, the owner liked the interwoven aspect of it as it connected to one of his values of fostering connection.

jewish elements as a
key visual indicator
JSI specifically wanted Jewish elements embedded into the logo as it would connect better with the community he was targeting. However, he wanted to steer away from the classic visual elements often associated with Judaism—such as the Star of David or the menorah. Instead, we focused on Challah Bread and the Havdalah Candle which fit perfectly with the brand and the goal of communicating an interwoven community.

dynamic and
multi-faceted
The final logo has a strong sense of humanness, an important aspect to foster a warm and welcoming community. Combining heart iconography, interwoven elements from the Challah Bread, and an eternal flame inspired from the Havdalah Candle, the monogram is a bold statement that stands out and welcomes new communities with open arms.
